Christchurch City Re:START village

More about Re:START

Re:Start is an initiative by building a temporary pedestrian shopping mall made from shipping containers after the Christchurch devastating earthquake. The idea is to bring as much life as they can do Christchurch red zone and to normalise the community to get on with their lives.

I was there just couple days ago and I truly like the place. To be honest, I don’t think Re:Start should not be a temporary box mall. They should just keep the place. Probably, rent it to smaller businesses. It is funky and cool. It add a new breath to the existing Christchurch central.

Tell me what you think of the photos above and if you think they should remove it permanently after Christchurch central is rebuilt.
